I don't know what the breeders are doing, but it seems to me they are breeding horses than run slower and slower, while breaking apart more and more. <br /><br />This bit that some say that time doesn't matter, only winning: someone will always win. There win always be a winner. But not always a good winner. What was outstanding about Secretariat and Ruffian was not just their wins, it was the way they did it, splintering records by 2 secs (S in Belmont) or putting out splits so fast is was unbelievable (Ruffian).Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
