Breeders' Cup Turf Workers at Santa Anita

By the time the turf workers made an appearance at Santa Anita this morning, the sun had been beating down for three hours and temperatures soared into the 80's at 9:00 a.m. There was still a good crowd at Clockers' Corner, however, to watch Courageous Cat work 5 furlongs in 1:01 and Allegre work the same distance in 1:01.6.

Courageous Cat, trained by Bill Mott, is heading for the Breeders' Cup Mile on Saturday. Allegre was prepping for the Breeders' Cup Turf for trainer Brian Koriner.
