Kurt Becker, the "Voice of Keeneland," is the only race-caller Keeneland has employed since first installing a public-address system in 1997.
I caught up with him at Santa Anita Wednesday morning for a quick interview. Becker is here for Breeders' Cup week as part of the Horse Racing Radio Network (HRRN) on-air team.
