The Pamplemousse looked marvelous galloping over the track at Del Mar this morning. I caught a quick photo of him just after he returned to trainer Julio Canani's barn. Here he is being unsaddled before cooling out. His exercise rider said he went great! Stay tuned for updates to come....

Thanks for following the Mousse
Yippie! I am so happy to see the Mousse on the loose again:). He is my favorite...
Mary,
My girlfriend, Whitney, who has posted on your blog a few times regarding The Pamplemousse, is a huge fan of the horse. We will be coming out to California next week and will be in town for about 2 weeks. We will be attending Hollywood Park on October 2nd to see Zenyatta (who is #2 to "The Mousse" in her book).
I know this is a huge longshot, but is there anyway possible for her to get a chance to see him either on the backstretch or during an AM workout?
I've also been following his work pattern since he has returned to training in late July, and see that he has been recently ramped up to 5f works. Perhaps a race is imminent?
I would appreciate feedback you could provide as to any possible way that we could see him while we are out there. It would truly make her trip.
My email is brianj0526@yahoo.com.
Thanks in advance,
Brian Johnson

a good horse for a better rider earns them their best race...no rotten luck could stop this Stable Jockey and his Wild Horse...
