Greg Gilchrist Takes Two Stakes Runners to Gulfstream Park

Northern California based trainer Greg Gilchrist will send out two very nice mares owned by the Estate of Harry Aleo in stakes at Gulfstream Park this weekend.

Wild Promises, a 5-year-old daughter of Wild Event, will be the likely favorite in Saturday's $100,000 Honey Fox Stakes. In December, I was very impressed watching Wild Promises gallop in the morning at Golden Gate Fields.

Victorina, a 6-year-old mare by Delaware Township, will run in Sunday's $75,000 Ocala Stakes. She has won both of her starts this year -- the Paseana Handicap at Santa Anita on Jan. 2 and the Campanile Stakes at Golden Gate Fields in Feb. 7. Jockey Edgar Prado picks up the mount on Victorina.

Best of luck to the NorCal connections!

Hey Mary,

Any tips for the eigth race today? It's a bit of a puzzle.

I've been following Boule d'Or and hoping he comes through with a win today for his new trainer.

Cheers

Keith
