Alex Solis Works The Pamplemousse at Santa Anita

The Mousse is Loose!

The Pamplemousse worked five furlongs in :59.80 with jockey Alex Solis up this morning for trainer Julio Canani. On hand to watch the workout were three of the colt's owners, Jeff and Bill Strauss and Tom Murray, as well as the crew from Animal Planet taping footage for the upcoming season of "Jockeys."

The video takes you from Canani's barn to the track and back, and includes an interview with Jeff Strauss. Enjoy!

Glad to see there's some merchandise for The Pamplemousse - is there any available for the public yet? I look forward to seeing him in HD on Jockeys.

I was hoping you'd have a "Mousse" treat today. Thanks!

Thanks for posting that! I love me some Pamplemousse! Vive le Pamplemousse! SA Derby should be fun to watch! If he wins that, Horsehats.com should make a hat for him before too long! They always make them for top Derby contenders! :)

Yes, we need a hat! And when can the public buy merchandise? hopefully soon!

BTW there was a spot on HRTV about Canani and I accidentally erased it on my DVR-- anyone know where I can catch it? Thanks!
