Monba Schooling for Todd Pletcher
Trainer Todd Pletcher schooled Monba, winner of the Grade 1 Bluegrass Stakes at Keeneland in 2008, at Santa Anita on Friday morning. Monba runs in Saturday's $1 million Santa Anita Handicap. Edgar Prado has the mount for owners Starlight Stable, Lucarelli & Saylor.

This is the double digit horse to fear. He'll close with that even-paced style and be right there at the end. Prado won't ride, GOMEZ will probably get the mount w/ scratch of COLONEL JOHN.
Good call AC, though he didn't quite the pace he needed, but ran huge.
