Blue Exit Schools for Big 'Cap at Santa Anita
I had the pleasure of watching this big, beautiful colt school for trainer Jerry Hollendorfer during the 2nd race at Santa Anita Thursday. He looked absolutely smashing as he went through the paces in preparation for Saturday's $1 million Santa Anita Handicap.
Blue Exit was runner-up to Cowboy Cal in the Grade 2 Strub Stakes at Santa Anita on Feb. 7. For anyone who likes to play hunches, I might add that I recently dreamt about a blue horse....

Mary love your insight and comets
I think Blue Exit has ability to go forward but in the cap may be over his head
Thank you for sharing.
I like how relaxed he is in the video. Keeping his head down and doing what's asked of him. He came home fast in the Strub.
Wow, he's a very tall good looking horse. I'm so excited for the Saturday races! From the Gotham in New York to the Big Cap in SoCal, we have a fantastic day of racing!
heartbreak...
Sadly, Blue Exit suffered an injury during the running of the Santa Anita Handicap and had to be euthanized. Our condolences go to trainer Hollendorfer and all of Blue Exit's connections.
And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest...
BLUE EXIT was an absolutely beautiful runner!
Rest In Peace... free in the meadows of heaven.
